The main objective of this study is analysing profit efficiency of king mandarin production at household level at Ham Yen Tuyen Quang province using data envelopment analysis. The primary data of 200 households employed in our study was collected by quota sampling method. Furthermore, we determine factors affected on profit efficiency score in bootstrap truncated regression model at the second stage. As a result, the mean profit efficiency score of king mandarin households was 0.486 with a huge range from 0,034 to 1.000. Therefore, the king madarin production at Ham Yen- Tuyen Quang province still has potential to improve their profit. We found that farm size, number of schooling years, credit, training and interplanting make an important role to improve the level of efficiency of king mandarin production in Tuyen Quang province.
