The results showed that total of 82 species, of 69 genus, 52 family, 32 order belonging to 6 groups (Crustacea, Bivalvia, Gastropoda, Polychaeta, Chordata and Arthropoda). In which, Crustacea with the most abundant composition, there are 28 species (accounting for 34.15%); Gastropoda have 28 species (accounting for 30,49%); Bivalvia have 23 species (accounting for 28.05%); Polychaeta have 5 species; Arthropoda have 2 species and Chordata has one species. From the results showed that the coastal area of Ninh Binh has a relatively diverse species composition, the main composition is Gastropoda, Bivalvia and Crustacea accounting for about 97,56% of the total number of identified species.</p> <p>Distribution of benthic animals in marine ecosystems depends on broad ecological applications or may vary by species or group: In the coastal alluvial area, there are species living in saltwater and brackish water (Portunidae); Common in benthic ecosystems (Nassariidae, Naticidae, Arcidae, Ostreidae, Veneridae, Grapsidae, Ocypodidae); Temporary Migratory Group (Amphibabalanus amphitrite). The biodiversity index in the coastal area of Ninh Binh has a low biodiversity index (H’ = 2.43).</p>}, number={22}, journal={SCIENTIFIC JOURNAL OF TAN TRAO UNIVERSITY}, author={Nguyễn Thanh, Bình and Nguyễn Cao, Văn}, year={2021}, month={Sep.} }
