Nguyen Truong To, who is a great reformer of the 19th century, set
perspectives of our country reform through specific reform proposals. His
perspectives are very comprehensive and systematic, including issues in
the fields of politics, society-economy, diplomacy, defense, education and
others. They are very practical and urgent for our society at that time. The
article introduces basic contents in the perspective of Nguyen Truong To
in economic field and summarizes values and lessons for the economic
development in our country in the current period.
