Efficiency of water saving in growing safe vegetables

The project "Application of economical watering in safe vegetable production" was conducted at the Center for Experiment, Practice and Technology and Science Transfer, at Tan Trao University, Tuyen Quang Province. Initial results have shown that the application of economical watering technologies for vegetables helps to save time, reduce labor costs and increase crop productivity. Specifically, cabbage yield increased by 2.12 tons/ha, kohlrabi productivity increased by 1.93 tons/ha compared to growing vegetables by traditional watering methods. The economic efficiency of cabbage is 19,860,000 VND/ha higher than traditional watering methods and the kohlrabi is more efficient than traditional watering methods about 14,555,000 VND/ha
