Abstract

Tran Quang Trieu was a famous scholar who contributed greatly to medieval Quang Ninh literature in particular and Vietnamese literature in general. He was the founder and owner of Bich Dong poetry circle - one of the earliest poetry associations of Vietnamese feudal poetry. Studying his prose and verse career helps the current generation to better understand the marshal of the Bich Dong poetry circle - the Poetry Association appeared before Tao Dan group that was founded by King Le Thanh Tong. That is also the way for the descendants today to better understand the ancestors’ thoughts and spirit.
