EFFECTS OF SOCIAL CAPITAL FACTORS ON CAPACITY TO ESCAPE POVERTY OF THE MONG HOUSEHOLDS IN THANH HOA PROVINCE

The paper analyzes the impact of social capital on H'mong households’ capability to escape poverty in Thanh Hoa Province today. Social capital in the article is limited in two aspects: Social capital affects workers of the household; manifesting through the assistance of governments at all levels (central and local). The study also describes: the supporting sources to promote the capacity to escape poverty H'mong households receive, the citizens’ participation and evaluation of the effectiveness in supporting activities. Additionally, the article also shows the supporting role of governments at all levels in the process of supporting the Mong to get out of poverty and out of poverty sustainably.
