ANALYZING THE SITUATION OF LAND USE CHANGES IN THE PERIOD 2014 - 2020 IN THINH HUNG COMMUNE, YEN BINH DISTRICT, YEN BAI PROVINCE

The study is conducted to synthesize the results of land use and analyze their changes in the period 2014-2020 in Thinh Hung commune, Yen Binh district, Yen Bai province. To achieve these results, the study uses data collection methods to obtain information about the area of land types over years. Then, compare 2014 data with 2020 to see the changes in the structure of land types. Finally, the analysis and integrated assessment to clarify the causes of land changes. The research results show that the fluctuation in the land use situation of Thinh Hung commune changes in the direction of increase. Specifically, the total natural area of the whole commune in 2020 is 2,572.18 ha, increasing by 2.38 ha compared to 2014 (2,569.80 ha). The main reason is the conversion of land use between the component soils. In which, the total area of agricultural land and non-agricultural land has clear changes. On the basis of analyzing the volatility, the study also proposes solutions to improve the efficiency of land management and use in Thinh Hung commune, Yen Binh district, Yen Bai province.
