CHOOSE PRIORITIES FOR INVESTMENT IN SCIENCE AND TECHNOLOGY APPLICATION IN THAI UYEN DISTRICT, LAI CHAU PROVINCE

Currently, the application of science and technology to agricultural production activities in localities is becoming urgent. However, the cost to apply the achievements of science and technology to agricultural production is relatively large. Therefore, investment activities cannot be spread out, there must be criteria for prioritization to apply to each crop or each step in the production and business processes. This report presents the research results of the criteria for selecting crops to be prioritized for investment in applying science and technology in Than Uyen district, Lai Chau province. On the basis of assessing the current status of crops being grown in the district, interviewing local experts, the study has developed criteria for selecting plant species to prioritize investment, determine the importance of plant species. number for each criterion. By using the TOPSIS method of the priority selection of crops, the study identified 3 priority crop species in the 8 selected research categories: tea, rice and passion fruit.
