Implementation of China’s cultural diplomacy strategy in Southeast Asia after the Cold War

In recent years, besides the political policy and economic policy, China’s cultural policy in Southeast Asia is also increasingly concerned. “Cultural diplomacy” is seen as the most important factor in implementingChina’s "soft power" strategy in Southeast Asia. China has been trying through cultural diplomact creating a picture of China – a vast country with rich history, culture, ethnic diversity, peace-loving, justice, righteousness, striving for a prosperity and sustainable development world. And perhaps this trend remains to be done in the foreign policy of China in the future. The focus of this article analyses on the basics for pratice, implementation process, the result, the impact of China’s cultural diplomacy strategy in Southeast Asia.
