This articlediscusses the way to achieve the “principle of accuracy” in the translation of “Crime and Punishment” by Cao Xuan Hao. In this version of translation, he combined many methods such as: Grammar translation, Semantic translation, Literal translation, Free translation, Idiomatic translation… This translation is a transcode of various codes: code of culture, code of language, code of sound. From that point, the literary style and philosophical ideas of Dostoyevsky can be transfer as close as much to the original text.
