In the Viet Bac Fall - Winter Campaign 1947, transport and communication of Road No.3 have ensured the demarcation of the resistance; the movement of the head agency to the Security Zone, evacuation; troops moving, food transporting transfering of official letters, documents, books and newspapers in the campaign. The people of Road No.3 had been prepared for the resistance in general and for the campaign in particular to fight directly against the French troops when they attacked Viet Bac. The crucial role of the Road No.3 above contributed to the great victory of our people, smashed the attack on the Viet Bac of the French colonialists, defeated the enemy's fast-paced tactic and forced them to turn it last long enough to create the premise for the victory of the national resistance period.
