Ricinus communis L., 3-carboxy-4-methoxy-N-methyl-2-pyridone và gallic acidAbstract
From the n-hexane extract of the leaves of Ricinus communis L., four compounds, β-sitosterol (1), daucosterol (2), 3-carboxy-4-methoxy-N-methyl-2-pyridone (3) and gallic acid (4) were isolated. Their chemical structures were determined by extensive spectroscopic methods including MS, 1D and 2D NMR and comparison of spectral data with previously reported values.
