Community based tourism is attracting tourists, especially in midland and northern mountainous areas. With advantages of natural landscape and ethnic cultural characteristics, community based tourism not only create profit for indigenous people but also help preserve and develop ethnic cultural characteristics. The article showed potentials in developing community based tourism of San Diu people in Vinh Phuc province to develop livelihood and conserve ethnic cultural characteristics which is interest of Vinh Phuc Party Committee.
