ASSESSMENT OF THE CURRENT SITUATION OF LAND USE FOR AGRICULTURAL PRODUCTION FOR 2019-2021 DONG HY DISTRICT, THAI NGUYEN PROVINCE

The study is to assess the production situation and current status of agricultural land use for Dong Hy district in the period of 2019 – 2021. Research using data collection and synthesis methods; from processing, analyzing and comparing the structure of agricultural land types; combined with online surveys to assess the current status and efficiency of agricultural land use in Dong Hy district. The results show that the total agricultural land area of Dong Hy district decreased from 13,635 ha in 2019 to 13,530 in the years 2020, 2021. This change in agricultural land area is related to the socio-economic development policy of the years and orientation to 2030 of the district. The growth rate of agriculture, forestry and fishery in 2020 will increase 1.7 times compared to 2019, which shows the positive changes in the agricultural economy in the area. The current status of agricultural land use has changed into a positive direction, bringing economic efficiency, agricultural land has been exploited quite thoroughly and oriented. The research results to create a premise for proposing some solutions to rational use in order to improve the efficiency of land use for agricultural planning in Dong Hy district.
