Abstract

Jacques Derrida (1930 - 2004) was the initiator of deconstruction. He is a philosopher with
Jewish roots. A key concept in Derrida's thought is “Différance”. He took “word” as the object of
study for the theory “différance”. With Derrida, “word” is more important than “parole” (speaking), which is the object of study of linguistics from Saussure to Bakhtin. In the “différance”, meanings of the word will be created continuously and infinitely.
