Abstract

Developing a team of homeroom teachers according to the competency approach is necessary to improve the effectiveness of classroom management and do well in educating students. The article researches and clarifies the actual situation of development of homeroom teachers in secondary schools in Dai Tu district, Thai Nguyen province in the following contents: Management of planning, organization, direction, management, and inspection. evaluated through a survey of 35 administrators (including managers of the education and training department, principals and vice principals) and 135 head teachers at 15 junior high schools in Dai district, Thai Nguyen province.
